Marshalls Golf Shop and Training Academy was set up in 2001 by brothers Adrian and Warren Marshall. Based at Heworth Golf Club it is idealy situated to provide the best possible training and coaching for the golfing enthusiast.

About Marshalls Golf PGA Professionals and Company Founders

Adrian Marshall

started his golf career as a junior at Heworth winning the Club Championship in 1981 aged 17. He turned professional a year later spending two years at Brancepeth Castle in Durham. He then joined Richard Phipps at Wallsend before moving with Richard to Boldon. Adrian spent the next 14 years at Boldon before leaving in 2001 to start Marshalls Golf at Heworth with his brother PGA Professional Warren Marshall.

Warren Marshall

joined the pro ranks aged 16 qualiying aged 23. He was assistant to Steve McNally for over 5 years before trying his luck on the regional tour for about 3 years. He then spent 8 years as Head Teaching Professional at Washington a further year at Boldon joining Adrian for the launch of Marshalls Golf in 2001
